This April, we're excited to release our latest Small Batch production, a 12oz Japanese selvage deadstock denim from Kaihara. It features a unique de-saturated, slightly grey-cast vintage indigo dye, black selvage line, and finished with raw copper buttons and rivets and a reclaimed leather back patch with individual batch number. Although the denim is a lighter 12 ounce, it is very starchy (and somewhat shiny) so it feels heavier than it is. They break in fast though and soon they will be soft and light on the body-- this batch will also stretch more than our other raw denim offerings due to its lighter weight. Like every Small Batch, these are made by the expert hands from our Tennessee workshop.
Pre-orders begin on Monday, April 18. The ship date is slated for May 18th. We will be doing personalized fittings at our workshop (Victor Athletics Club, Cincinnati) until Sunday, April 24. We will have the Small Batch on hand to see and feel. Quantities are limited, you don't want to miss this special edition. Check out the products now for more details and photography.
