Shop Tunes: 5.30.14
There is something about electronic music that seems to welcome summer. It’s great to see some old favorites coming out of the woodsheds to release great summer albums, last year Daft Punk and this year Chromeo. I thought it would be fun to pool some favorite Chromeo tunes to make way for their new album (released a few weeks back). If you don’t know Chromeo, they are an electronic duo shrouded in their stage personalities (a couple of suave ladies men) and their music is that classic big-beat brand that’s reminiscent of disco- but with plenty of nostalgic 80′s style synths, super hooks and oh that vocodor. Don’t take it too seriously and just enjoy the ride.
