New Years Rulin’s

It’s a new year and the past one gave us many smiles, blessings and farewells. 2012 was a big year for us at Noble, since it is the year that the United States Government first learned of our enterprise (and can likewise expect our first upcoming tax payments). But 2012 was also a year that saw one of our favorite artists turn 100. A noble man by the name of Woody Guthrie. He was a pioneer in the music and written word world and it was a treat to discover a document that he penned outlining his new years resolutions (or ‘rulin’s’ as he called them). Our hats are off to you Mr. Guthrie- you continue to inspire by your stoic and unassuming manor and your ability to simply put life’s simplest things that are so often overlooked.

I’d recommend this fantastic Fresh Air podcast for anyone interested in learning more about the man & the myth. It aired this July on NPR.

Lastly, have a look at Woody’s Resolutions. I know I can echo some his thoughts, o so many years later.
